BSM driving instructors are to get their hands on new Fiats within the next couple of weeks after the driving school impounded a number of the new vehicles in Cardiff as the company collapsed.
Over 1,000 cars had been held back after BSM ran into trouble, causing their driving instructors to have to wait for new cars. PricewaterhouseCoopers have since officially announced that BSM had gone into administration and been sold immediately to the AA for £1.
Insiders have provided an idea of the state of BSM's finances before the collapse, stating "It couldn't pay its wages, couldn't pay the leases on its buildings and had hundreds of cars impounded in Cardiff – apart from that it was a good business."
