A Croatian inventor believes he has found the perfect method to prevent drivers from entering a highway in the wrong direction. The donwside is that it involves shredding the tyres of the offending vehicle.
Zoran Mitanovski, who comes from Pula in Croatia, has presented an invention that literally cuts through tyres of any car that drives the wrong way down the highway.
The inventor claims he came up with the invention after reading about drivers endangering others by driving in the wrong lane. His invention consists of metal points that destroy the tyres of someone driving the wrong way and he is already offering it to Croatian highways.
