A woman who suffered a terrible head on collision while driving home in icy conditions has had a car donated to her by her former driving school.
Sarah Peatling, aged 21, suffered a fractured jaw, broken teeth, broken ribs and cuts in the accident, in which her old car was also written off. She was unable to replace it due to insurance complications. She also lost her job as she was unable to travel to work.
The driving instructor who donated the car claims that he is happy that Ms Peatling will now be able to travel to her job as a hotel receptionist in the new vehicle.
