In February 2011, since the introduction of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme, Disclosure Scotland no longer issues enhanced level criminal record disclosures for most occupations, including driving instructors. Disclosures for ADIs and PDIs resident in Scotland are now being provided by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
