A chap who suggested the 14.8-mile drive from Ambleside to Boot in the Lake District is the greatest driving road in UK has won Volvo UK's imaginative Facebook competition to find the UK's greatest driving road.
Although, it might not be the Stelvio Pass or the Col de Turini, the route certainly looks like it offers some pretty spectacular views of England's green and pleasant land.
The road is single track, and UK does have plenty of great driving roads like the Black Mountain, the Cat and Fiddle in the Peak District and the A87 which runs from Invergarry to the Isle of Skye. Pass in the Brecon Beacons.
Winner Martin Baker got a Volvo S60 DRIVe R-Design for his selection.
