In order not to miss out on potential business the DSA has issued a fresh reminder to ADIs to keep their contact details updated on the government’s Business Link website.
The free online service is a portal for ADIs to manage their registration with the Driving Standards Agency but also provides the database for ‘Find your nearest driving instructor’ searches powered by the DSA.
ADIs can allow the DSA to use their postal and email addresses and contact telephone numbers in the searches. By postcode, Learners will then be able to find their nearest driving instructors.
Instructors can also use the service to confirm their commitment to at least one day’s CPD training a year and whether they have a recent CRB check. This information will then be available to help learners make a decision on which local instructors to contact.
